WANTED

Foley Mixing for WANTED helped me learn techniques for recording foley in tricky environments. One such technique was preparing lots of padding when using heavy props on hollow floors, and suspending surfaces for footsteps to avoid unwanted low end. We also used an EQ to roll off some low end while recording to combat any muddiness for the Foley Editor's sake. I developed some strategies through working on this film when planning out which cues to cover in various studios -- using the foley pit for surface-centered cues and the ADR booths for handling and rustle.
